50 Days of Promises (17): Because of Him

1 Corinthians 1:27-31

27 God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

God created the heavens and the earth, He walked as man and died to free us from the punishment of sin, and rose so that we may be free in Him.

His promise is that we are being sanctified, redeemed, our lives written completely new by Him.

We simply need a deep and enduring faith and His majesty will wash in and through us by way of the Holy Spirit who indwells those who call on Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe, He Sanctifies

Father God I thank you this morning for this missile to the heart that reminds me that there is nothing I do that Sanctifies, it is You who is at work in me leading me into deeper awareness of my shortcomings so that I may recognize all the more how great your sacrifice and how much more the miracle of new life it is that You give us. Thank You for my new life that struggles to live in the spirit more and be dead in the flesh completely. I choose to set my eyes upon you this day Father, that you may teach me more completely the ways You would have me walk. In Jesus name I pray…
